ABOUT - I SEE YOU
from director Val McAdoo
I SEE YOU is near and dear to my heart. It is a story about a young woman who can see the potential in items that are discarded and left in the trash. But not only can she visualize bringing these trashed items to their former beauty, she knows how theses items can work together to create a welcoming and harmonious living space.
The young woman also can easily see the potential in a down-trodden man that she comes across on her daily walks. Although she is much younger than this man, she embodies the spirit of motherhood. With kindness and encouragement, she watches him as he progresses through the stages of development (from laying, to sitting, pulling himself up, to taking his first steps) as a mother would watch her child grow and thrive.
But with all of her selfless love, she sometimes neglects to see the beauty in her own soul, until this newfound friend reflects it back to her.
STORYLINE

ABOUT - THE 7
'The 7' is a film written, produced and directed by the members of the Actors Co-op. What started out as a scene study exercise and part of the curriculum for our Saturday teen class, grew into something so much more. As the story progressed, it garnered the interest of a professional and well-established writer by the name of Kathryn Mackie. Kathryn's knowledge and expertise were a blessing and helped in furthering the development of the story. The teens worked extremely hard on this project and they are excited to finally share their work with the world. We couldn't be more proud of the finished product as we gear up for Festival Submission.
