Larry Jansen

With 30 years of teaching and directing experience, Larry brings the "X" factor to his approach of teaching. He has started theater programs at five area grade schools and has numerous awards to his credit. He has taught film acting at The Actors Center in Philadelphia for 6 years and now is a member here at The Actors Co-op!

Ken Jansen

Ken is a veteran in the industry having worked for years at The Actors Center of Philadelphia. He was an integral part of The Actors Center from 2011 through 2013, where he ran the day to day office operations as well as managed some of the existing talent.

Ken sent actors on auditions from Philly to NYC, and several of these actors appeared in national and regional commercials, TV pilots and Feature Films. Ken also taught commercial audition classes for both adults and children.

In 2014, Ken and his wife put all their energies into opening The Actors Focus of Wallingford, PA, where they thrived for 6 years.  During that tenure, Ken continued to manage talent at The Actors Focus, giving young actors the opportunity to be in short films, which he himself, wrote and directed.

Ken now joins the Actors Co-Op of Swarthmore with the same enthusiasm that he had at The Actors Focus.  His goal is to continue to cultivate young talent and do everything he can to get young actors in front of the camera for Film/TV and commercial auditions.

Allison Kessler

Since 2010, Allison has been sharing her passion teaching children of all ages the wonders of acting, first in Erie, PA through her University and the Erie Playhouse, and now, in the Philadelphia area. She has been a Teaching Artist for The Walnut Street Theatre and Act II Playhouse helping young creative souls discover the art of building a character and developing a story. Allison is excited to join the Actor Co-Op and share her experiences, both on-screen and on-stage, to aspiring actors.
